Bungie’s plans for Destiny 2 are far from over. During a livestream, the developer revealed the previously announced fourth expansion, Witch Queen.

This time, the guardians will fight Savathûn, the so-called Witch Queen and sister of the former villain Oryx. The battle does not take place in the classic world, however, but transports you to Savathûn’s throne world, where new types of hive opponents await. The antagonist has managed to acquire the light and equip her followers with it.

In addition to the new location and the campaign, which this time is also playable on a higher difficulty level with better rewards, there is also weapon crafting, a new weapon type with the Glefe, a new six-player activity, a new raid and more.

Destiny 2: Witch Queen, by the way, will be released on February 22, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Google Stadia. Until then, Destiny 2 will be running the Season of the Lost, which introduces the story of the upcoming expansion.
