After initial difficulties due to too many players, first-person shooter Splitgate is now officially starting Pre-Season 0, the indie developers from 1047 Games announced at gamescom Opening Night Live. This means that the arena shooter with portals will get new content: The new Contamination mode, the new map Karman Station and a Battle Pass with 100 levels.

The beta note on the Steam page has also disappeared. With this, we assume that the full release of Splitgate has taken place on 25 August 2021. However, there is no clear official statement on the date of the release.
