At gamescom 2021, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, a sequel to the 25-year-old Chaos Gate, was revealed. Not much is really known about the story or the gameplay. But that shouldn’t matter to many fans for the time being, because one thing is clear: the reveal trailer is pure fanservice again and gives you goosebumps!
You slip into the role of the leader of the so-called Grey Knights. This is a secret special unit of the well-known Space Marines. The battles are supposed to be very tactical and above all turn-based. Since the developers explicitly speak of a role-playing game, it remains to be seen to what extent you can upgrade or otherwise improve your unit in the course of the game.
