The German Uniliga has won every European Championship title there is to be won this year! The German team already won the European Championship in Rocket League in winter. This success could now be repeated.
After Berlin Phoenix won the EURC in the winter, they were able to defend their title in the regular season. With the University Rocketeers Summer Series (Summer EURC) they already won their third title this year.
Tough quarter-final, commanding final
They won all their matches in the group phase and finished first in the table. The first difficulties then arose in the playoffs. They faltered briefly in the quarter-finals against the Portsmouth Paladins, but won by a narrow 4:3. In the semi-finals they then met the Keele Krakens and went straight into the Upper Bracket Final with an easy 4:0.
Since the DG Dragons lost to Erasmus eSports Rotterdam in the semi-finals, the Berliners had to play the Dutch. With a 4:1 Phoenix moved into the final and met Rotterdam again. They didn’t give them a chance and with a 4:0 Berlin Phoenix won the University Rocketeers’ Summer Series 2021!
