Farming Simulator 2019
What’s it about? In Farming Simulator 2019, you take on the role of a farmer and manage your own farm. In addition to the daily work in the fields, you can breed animals and become active as a forester. The vehicle fleet consists of more than 450 machines that have been faithfully reproduced.
Suitable for whom? If you like realistic processes in the field and want to work in a coordinated way, you should play the Farming Simulator in multiplayer. You won’t get your hands dirty, as most of the work is done on tractors and harvesters. Farming Simulator regularly receives new DLCs and expansions, which additionally promote long-term motivation.
What does the multiplayer offer? In multiplayer, up to 16 players can play together. As a player, you can run eight farms side by side, each with their own budget, land and equipment. This adds a lot of variety to the game and the farms can help each other out. If you prefer to breed cows and pigs, you can ask the neighbouring farm to grow fodder for the farm animals, which you can then sell to your own farm.
If that is not enough, the game experience can be expanded with mods. Whether new machines, seasons, production buildings or maps: Farming Simulator offers a lot of variety for virtual farmers.
SnowRunner
What’s it all about? In SnowRunner, you use licensed motor vehicles to make your way through rough terrain and have a lot of freedom in the open world. Whether in the USA, Canada, Russia or Alaska: on the 30-square-kilometre map you transport goods to their destination and help the local population in the process. What sounds simple at first quickly turns out to be a challenge, because the roads in SnowRunner are anything but paved and the winch quickly becomes your best friend.
Suitable for whom? SnowRunner is suitable for anyone who likes challenges and progressions. At the beginning, your arsenal of vehicles is very limited and is constantly expanded through the completion of missions and explorations. The higher your driver level, the bigger and better the machines become. In multiplayer, a lot of communication, coordination and teamwork is important.
What does the multiplayer offer? Every single-player score can be used in multiplayer. Four of you can explore the open world together and carry out missions. The vehicle fleet, consisting of over 40 vehicles, offers a lot of variety and each region offers new challenges.
TheHunter: Call of the Wild
What is it about? In the hunting simulation theHunter: Call of the Wild, a 50-square-mile open world awaits you as you hunt through dense forests, fields and valleys for various animals such as bison and deer. The immersion is enhanced by weather events, day and night cycles and the simulation of wind.
Suitable for whom? theHunter: Call of the Wild is not for impatient players. Most of the time very little happens in the game and it takes a lot of patience and skill to get an animal in front of the shotgun. The simulation is excellent for slowing down and the multiplayer invites you to share stories.
What does the multiplayer offer? Up to eight players can go hunting together. Most of the time you will be searching for tracks and stalking your target by crawling or lying down. If you don’t pay attention to the wind, the animal will smell you and take flight. theHunter: Call of the Wild in multiplayer is more for leisurely players who want to chat a bit and experience something together after a long day.
Bus Simulator 18
What’s it about? In Bus Simulator 18 you take on the role of an inner-city bus driver. You can choose from eight vehicles, including licensed buses from Mercedes-Benz, MAN or Iveco. The 15-square-kilometre map is set in the fictional Seaside Valley and was created in Cities: Skylines. In addition to classic driving, you take care of your company, plan routes and recruit staff.
Suitable for whom? Those who find OMSI 2 too complex will have a lot of fun in Bus Simulator 18 together with friends. Different difficulty levels and realism settings make it easier for newcomers to the simulation genre to get started.
What does the multiplayer offer? In multiplayer, four players can bring passengers to their destination together. You are free to drive a bus yourself or to ride with a friend. Thanks to the independent planning of routes and modding support, Bus Simulator offers a lot of variety. The successor Bus Simulator 21 has already been announced for 2021.
Winter Resort Simulator Season 2
What’s it about? In Winter Resort Simulator Season 2 you are the manager of a ski resort and are responsible for all technical equipment and the preparation of the slopes. You operate cable cars and light up the ski slopes with snow cannons.
Suitable for whom? The simulation is extensive and depicts many activities in a ski resort. Anyone who has always wanted to manage and administer a snow area will find the right game with the simulation. Challenges arise from the economic system and dynamic weather. If that’s not enough, you can download mods from the Steam workshop to enhance the game experience.
What does the multiplayer offer? In multiplayer, up to four players can work together to ensure the operation of the ski resort. From operating the cable cars to preparing the slopes, there are various tasks. Four snowcats next to each other are not only a visual highlight, but also shorten the time until closing time and a speedball fight.
Ranch Simulator
What’s it about? In Ranch Simulator you inherit your grandfather’s farm and have to bring it back to shape. The tasks on your own ranch range from renovating the house to breeding chickens, pigs and cows. If you want more, you can hunt for wild animals in the forest or cut down trees and turn them into wooden boards.
Suitable for whom? If the animal breeding in Farming Simulator is not extensive enough for you, you should take a look at Ranch Simulator. The game is currently in an early stage in Early Access and more features like breeding horses are to follow in the future.
What does the multiplayer offer? In multiplayer, you work together on the ranch and make sure that it becomes profitable again. The in-game tutorial explains the basics of the game very well and the learning curve is very steep afterwards.
Firefighting Simulator – The Squad
What’s it about? In Firefighting Simulator – The Squad, you fight fires in a fictitious US city together with friends or AI helpers and rescue residents from their homes. The fire simulation is intended to be as realistic as possible: you can expect backdrafts and flashovers, along with a complex physics system in which the fire spreads dynamically.
Suitable for whom? Firefighting Simulator – The Squad unfolds its full potential in multiplayer. Four of you coordinate closely and take on various tasks. With more than 30 locations, the simulation offers a lot of variety and also allows beginners to get into the game quickly.
What does multiplayer offer? In multiplayer, you drive together to the scene of the fire on the 60-square-kilometre map and wait there for the instructions of the incident commander. You not only fight fires in residential buildings, but also receive assignments in industrial areas and office complexes.
Truck and Logistics Simulator
What is it about? You take over a logistics company and deliver various goods to their destination. You load and unload the goods yourself. The game offers a lot of potential, from small crates to excavators weighing several tonnes. If that’s not enough, you can drive a monster truck around the streets of the 24 square kilometre map.
Suitable for whom? Truck and Logistics Simulator is in an early access phase. Updates are released at irregular intervals and the developers respond to feedback from the community. The core features are already included and the game offers enough content for about 10 hours.
What does the multiplayer offer? In multiplayer, up to 32 players can complete missions together in a convoy. When selecting missions, other players can choose whether they want to join the convoy or prefer to bring freight to its destination alone. The fleet of vehicles is extensive and the simulation also offers enough variety here.
Construction Simulator 2015
What’s it about? In Construction Simulator 2015, you take the wheel of 16 construction machines that are true to the original. You build houses, halls, sports fields and organise heavy transports through the city. Through mod support, there are numerous missions and vehicles that are downloaded via Steam.
Suitable for whom? Although the construction simulator is over six years old, you will look in vain for comparable titles in multiplayer on the PC. Those who like to build with friends and operate heavy machinery will have a lot of fun with the construction simulator.
What does the multiplayer offer? In multiplayer, four players can work together on the various jobs. On the construction site, you divide up the work: One of you operates the tower crane, another excavates at the dredge hole, the next fetches bricks and the fourth takes care of prefabricated walls. You can choose from over 16 construction machines from Liebherr, Still and MAN. Beginners will quickly find their way into the game with easy tasks. Those who like it more complex can try their hand at building the St. John’s Hospital Fuchsberg, which is offered as a free DLC.
Microsoft Flight Simulator
What’s it all about? Microsoft Flight Simulator lets us control everything from light aircraft to huge jets. Since it’s a simulation, we have detailed cockpits and a realistic world to sail over every time. In addition, there are other conditions such as day or night, as well as the changing weather.
Suitable for whom? The best way to play the flight simulator is with a joystick. Ideally with a thrust controller. Although the controls also work with a mouse and keyboard or gamepad, you will have more fun with the appropriate hardware.
What does the multiplayer offer? In multiplayer, you can explore the entire world with friends and fly wing to wing. This also works in VR mode, but you need the appropriate hardware. And while you explore the world together, you can sing a flying song or two – because above the clouds, the freedom must be boundless.
Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator
For a long time it was only possible in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator to bring virtual goods to their destination together in multiplayer via an unofficial mod. In the meantime, however, there is also an official multiplayer mode for both simulations, in which you go on tour together with seven other players.
In the game, you select the convoy mode and open a game, which can optionally be protected with a password. After selecting the appropriate cargo, you set off together to reach your destination.
TruckersMP – unofficial multiplayer
TruckersMP turns the Euro and American Truck Simulator into an MMO where you can deliver freight with up to 4,000 truckers on the virtual streets of Europe.
A mod makes multiplayer possible: TruckersMP is an unofficial mod for the Euro and American Truck Simulator and enables a complete multiplayer experience. TruckersMP provides its own servers on which more than a thousand players can drive at the same time.
ETS 2 in multiplayer – here’s how to do it step by step:

Police Simulator: Patrol Officers
What’s it about? In Police Simulator: Patrol Officers you choose one of eight different characters and slip into the role of a male or female US police officer. In the fictitious US metropolis of Brighton, you go on patrol and check passers-by, write up parking offenders and keep an eye out for speeders and suspicious persons. The various tasks are intended to be as detailed as possible.
In August 2021, the multiplayer mode for the simulation was released, in which you go on patrol in pairs. Together you take care of accidents, ride together in the patrol car and issue tickets for parking violations. Night shifts are also new, with the introduction of torches and street flares.
Suitable for whom? You like to drive through the city with blue lights, like the US setting and like to keep law and order? Then Police Simulator is the right title for you. In addition to alcohol and drug tests, you can carry out general traffic controls, provide the necessary security at accident scenes, convict speeders and, of course, hand out parking tickets.
What does the multiplayer offer? So far you can only play the multiplayer in co-op. In pairs, you take on the same tasks as in the single player.
