The grand finals of the Rainbow Six: Siege GSA League will take place in Hamburg. We tell you when it starts and how you can watch.
For weeks and months, eight teams in Rainbow Six: Siege’s GSA League 2021 fought for a spot in the finals. In the end, only four of them qualified and they will face each other in the final tournament this weekend.
What’s it about?
The GSA League is the Rainbow Six: Siege e-sports series for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. On a total of 14 match days, eight teams from the professional and amateur sectors competed for prize money of 40,000 euros.
Four teams prevailed in the group phase and are allowed to travel to Hamburg. The final tournament will now take place there, at the end of which only one can win.
Due to the ongoing Corona pandemic, the final will not take place with spectators on site, but will be held exclusively as an online event. In addition to the commented matches, there will also be analysis and competitions.
Where will the final be broadcast?
The GSA Final will be broadcast completely via Livestream. You can watch on the German Twitch channel of Rainbow Six: Siege or on the YouTube channel UbisoftTV.
When will the games take place?
The GSA League finals will take place on the weekend of 03 to 05 September. Matches will take place on all three days. The schedule is as follows:
Friday, 03 September
– 15:00: Pre-Show
– 15:30: Opening Show
– 16:00: 1st semi-final
followed by: 2nd semi-final
Saturday, 04 September
– 12:15 pm: Show start
– 12:30 p.m.: Lower Bracket Game 1
– followed by: Upper Bracket Game 1
– followed by: Lower Bracket Game 2
Sunday, 05 September
– 15:00 hrs: Show start
– 15:30: Show Match
– 16:50: Final and 1st place match

What is the schedule for the final?
On the first match day, Friday, the two semi-final pairings will take place. All matches will be played as “Best of 3”, i.e. the team that wins two rounds first will decide the match for itself.
The teams that lose in the semi-finals will then move to the lower bracket and get another chance to possibly reach the grand final. Meanwhile, the two semi-final opponents end up in the Upper Bracket and fight for the first place in the Grand Final.
The loser of the Upper Bracket will then face the winner of the Lower Bracket. The second final spot will be determined from this match.
Finally, on Sunday, the grand final will be held as a “Best of 5”. The team that wins the first three rounds will lift the trophy of the GSA League 2021.
Which teams will be in the final?
After 14 days of play, the following four teams have prevailed:

– Rogue
– Goskilla
– G2 Esports
In addition to a good ranking, the four teams will also be competing for a corresponding amount of prize money. The distribution looks like this:
– 1st place: 10,000 euros
– 2nd place: 8.000 Euro
– Place 3 + 4: 5.200 Euro each
