The release of Battlefield 2042 has been postponed. Instead of 22 October, the new DICE shooter will now be released on 19 November 2021 And with that, of course, the dates for the preload and early access of and to Battlefield 2042 will also change.

Release: When will Battlefield 2042 be released?
- Date: 19 November 2021
- Time: 9 a.m. German time
Early Access: When will early access be available
Those who buy the Gold or Ultimate Edition of Battlefield 2042 can get their hands on it a week earlier. The same offer also applies to members of the EA Play subscription. The exact dates are:
- Date: From 12 November 2021.
- Time: From 9am German time
What fans playing in advance should be aware of: EA Play members will only be allowed to play Battlefield 2042 for a total of ten hours prior to release. EA Play Pro subscribers are not subject to a time limit and can play for as long as they want before the final release
Preload: When can I start the download?
Those who pre-order Battlefield 2042 can download the game in advance. This means that pre-orderers can get started right on time for the release or the start of the Early Access phase. The exact dates for this fall on the following date:
- Date: 8 November 2021
- Time: 7 pm German time
What’s the status of the Battlefield 2042 beta?
Before the final release of Battlefield 2042, there is still a beta phase to come. However, with the postponement of the release date, it looks like the dates are changing here as well.
