In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team the Weekend League will be replaced by the Champions Finals. Here is how you can qualify for them.
Those who want to play competitively in FIFA 22 are aiming to reach the FUT Champions Playoffs and eventually the Finals. To get there, however, players in the new FIFA Ultimate Team must first complete the qualification path. We’ll explain how you can do that.
We have already reported about the Champions Finals, all achievable ranks and the rewards here.
To get into the Champions Playoffs at all, you first have to collect points via the Division Rivals mode. This was already the case in FIFA 21 for the Weekend League.
but compared to the previous part the playoffs are a new intermediate step.
In the FUT Champions Playoffs you have to climb the Ladder. Over the course of nine matches, you collect points during the week (four per win, one per defeat) and thus earn rewards.
If you reach 24 or more points, eligibility for the FUT Champions Finals this weekend will be added to the Rewards. So you need at least 5 wins for the Champions Finals if you play all nine games.
In the Finals, you will play up to 20 matches over the weekend. The scoring system is the same as in the playoffs and your final score will determine your reward.
FIFA 22 has already been playable via EA Play since 22 September. Pre-orderers will be able to pick up their controllers from 27 September, and the game will be officially released on 1 October.
