Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is one of the best role-playing games of the entire year. An incredibly complex one, to be sure, but with a terrific story and a massive scope. We have already discussed all of this in detail in our review and awarded it a high rating.
A rating that could have been much higher. But in addition to the fantastic role-playing content, Wrath of the Righteous also has a less well-done strategy mode. Here we have to raise a crusader army and fight against the forces of the demons.
The mode never quite convinced us and can be quite frustrating if you don’t bother with it. But if you know what you’re doing, you can get through it much better and possibly have more fun with it. We have therefore asked the developers for help.
