The German developer Yager announces the start of the beta of the PvPvE shooter The Cycle in a trailer. And it has it all: The game has been heavily reworked and is now supposed to offer more excitement, as you can now permanently lose your equipment. Fittingly, the game is now called The Cycle: Frontier. All in all, the mix of resource hunting, PvE combat and PvP battles is even more reminiscent of the successful Crytek shooter Hunt Showdown, where the loss of equipment is also a threat.
If you want to try out the major overhaul for yourself, you can apply on Steam and in Epic Games Store for the playtest, which is already underway. When we tried it, we received an acceptance within minutes and were able to download The Cycle: Frontier directly.
