Cod warzone Halloween event

In the CoD event The Haunting you can get skins from Scream and Donnie Darko – but there is hardly any way around the real money purchase.

On 19 October 2021, the big Halloween event The Haunting will start in Call of Duty: Warzone. And what is the most important thing for a successful Halloween party? That’s right, a cool disguise!

In Warzone this year you can unlock especially spooky skins, from Ghostface from Scream to Frank the Rabbit from Donnie Darko. In this article, we’ll explain what you need to do to unlock them.

But just to warn you first: Unfortunately, there is no way to unlock the Halloween outfits simply by doing challenges or the like! There is no alternative to using your credit card (or real money in the form of CoD Points).

How to get CoD Points?

The in-game currency is available for real money in the shop, with 100 points costing around one euro. A 2,400-point skin therefore costs about 24 euros. CoD Points can also be earned for free by levelling up the Season Pass, around 1,300 points can be earned in this way.

How to get the Halloween 2021 Skins in CoD Warzone

Ghost of War

The Ghost of War Operator skin is an undead skeleton warrior with blue glowing eyes and wears an East Asian outfit. There are two ways to unlock this one:

Pre-order CoD Vanguard
: The first way is to pre-order the upcoming series installment Call of Duty Vanguard. As a pre-order bonus, anyone who pre-orders the upcoming shooter between 22 October and 2 November 2021 will get the skin as a free bonus. Of course, everyone who pre-ordered before that will get it too.

Ingame-Shop: If you don’t want to buy a complete game for a skin, you can also buy the Ghost of War Skin Bundle for 2,400 CoD points in the ingame shop. It includes the skin and some extras like legendary weapon skins or finishing moves.

  • Ghost of War – Operator Skin
  • Legendary weapon skins (Ghost sword, marsh, bellow, underworld)
  • Warhorse – Legendary Vehicle Skin
  • Undead Warrior – Horn
  • Shot Down – Finishing Move
  • War Monger – Emblem

Ghostface from Scream

With Ghostface, arguably one of the most iconic horror movie villains gets an appearance in CoD Warzone. However, those who want to play the popular film character will also have to open their wallets. As with previous limited operators, the price is 2,400 COD Points.

In addition to the skin, this bundle again includes some additional goodies – such as the cordless phone from the famous opening scene of the first Scream movie in the form of a weapon pendant:

  • Ghostface – Operator Skin
  • Plot Twist – Weapon Skin
  • Slasher – Weapon Skin
  • Ghost Blade – Weapon Skin
  • Cordless Phone – Charm
  • Scary Hours – Watch
  • Violent End – Finishing Move
  • SCREAM – Emblem
  • Stabbing Motion – Calling Card
  • Double XP Token – Consumable

Frank the Bunny from Donnie Darko

Director Richard Kelly’s 2001 film Donnie Darko, while nowhere near as well known as Scream, has a loyal fan base that celebrates the sci-fi thriller as a timeless masterpiece. Here, mentally unstable teenager Donnie Darko has visions of a being in a bunny costume who calls himself Frank and predicts the end of the world for him.

You can buy Frank the Rabbit in the in-game shop for 2,400 CoD points from 24 October 2021. In addition to the operator skin, you will also receive the following content:

  • Frank The Rabbit – (Operator skin)
  • “Sky is Falling” – (Finishing Move)
  • Epic-Rarity Weapon Charm
  • Epic-Rarity Calling Card
  • Epic-Rarity Emblem
  • Epic-Rarity Watch
  • Legendary Sniper Rifle blueprint
  • Legendary SMG blueprint
  • Legendary Assault Rifle blueprint
