The new multiplayer map from Call-of-Duty: Vanguard and Warzone is called Caldera and picks up on the Pacific War.
The new multiplayer map in Warzone will be Caldera. Activision announced Thursday that the map, set in the Pacific Rim, will launch with Season 1 of Call of Duty: Vanguard. Battles will begin on the island on December 2.
The island map appears with forests, ruins and an active volcano in the middle of the map and is inspired by the Pacific War between the US and Japan. Caldera will replace Verdansk in Warzone. The size of the map is expected to remain the same and with over 200 locations, players will have a lot to discover.

The developers also stated that crossplay has been optimised and will be available from the start. Of course, the content from CoD: Modern Warfare and CoD: Black Ops Cold War will also be included. Also new is the integration of the new anti-cheat system Riccochet and the adaptation of the name to Warzone Pacific.
