New ships, medical functions, dynamic loot generation: Star Citizen gives an overview of the new features of Alpha Update 3.15 in the new trailer. The big patch has already been released.

Entitled Deadly Consequences, the new version is all about healing. Players can be brought into the “down” state by hits and revived and healed by other players using the CuraLife Medical Gun and healing ray cultivation for the multi-tool. There are also hospitals at the locations Orison, Grim Hex, New Babbage and at special Drivethrough clinics. This is also where players heal the new permanent injuries, which result in different handicaps in the game depending on the body part.

Players also have to prove their shooter skills in new mission types. For example, some quest modifiers may require you to secretly infiltrate an enemy base or defend against onrushing waves of enemies.

With the Crusader Hercules Starlifter A2, a bomber also finds its way into Star Citizen. The associated bombing mechanics let you wreak havoc, as is also shown in the trailer. The Origin 400i is also included in Update 3.15. And all this is only a fraction of the innovations for the unfinished giant project Star Citizen. You can look up more in the (official infohub).
