Currently, the shooter is plagued by annoying bugs: crashes, progression stoppers, problems with the UI. We collect tips that can help.
The Battlefield gates will not open for everyone until 19 November 2021. But already in Early Access of Battlefield 2042 it is foreseeable that there will be some serious technical problems and bugs. Whether a Day One patch will possibly provide a remedy is still completely unclear. We therefore collect tips that can help with the most common errors.
The most common bugs and problems of Battlefield 2042
Persistent data cannot be loaded (error code 15:600P:-7A)
What does this mean? If you get this error message, you cannot connect to the servers and end up back in the start menu. Sometimes the error code given is (2002G), (15:-7A), (1:4688822970:100J:1004G), (2.2600J) or ((15:1102P: 1101P).
What can you do? As has been announced in the meantime, the reason for the error is on the Battlefield 2042 side, so it has nothing to do with your internet connection. At the moment, the only thing that helps is to disconnect from the server and then try again until it works. A fix is in the works.
We’re aware that many of you are receiving an error message while attempting to load into a server, and then being returned to the Main Menu
⚠ Unable to Load Persistence Data is a connection issue on our side

Revive respawn bug
What does this mean? Sometimes the timer doesn’t expire when you go down – you can’t respawn or be revived. Sometimes your comrades can’t pick you up if you die too close to walls or shallow water, as reported (on Reddit).
What can you do? Unfortunately, the only thing that can be done at the moment is to leave the match if you are caught in the loop. DICE must urgently deliver a fix here, at the moment the bug is ruining the fun of the game. For example here at Profi Shroud:
Unclean Aiming
What does this mean? Many complain about Battlefield 2042’s imprecise shooting feel, which simply feels messy, especially when compared to previous installments. This is partly due to the controversial Bloom feature, a random scattering of your weapons.
What can you do? To improve precision, you need to match mouse and keyboard controls with controller settings – even if you’re not using a controller. It is important that the aiming settings under “On foot” are the same everywhere.
Unending queue at portal
What does this mean? EA says players can get stuck in the queue before popular Portal modes without ever getting into the game.
What can you do? Currently, Battlefield 2042 does not offer a way to exit from a queue. So you have to quit the whole game (easiest with Alt and F4) and log in again
Progression Bugs
What does this mean? These display bugs occur, for example, when you unlock new weapon skins or increase your rank. The rewards will be available to you, but you will be incorrectly told that you have not made enough progress.
What can you do? Most of the time a restart will help, in all other cases you will have to wait for a patch. For us, such annoying bugs are among the big problems that a Day One patch absolutely has to eliminate
Are you also affected by bugs and technical problems? Feel free to write it in the comments, if something happens more often, we’ll add it to our list accordingly!
