WoW gets its pre-patch 9.0.1 with first Shadowlands content on October 14th, 2020. We will tell you when the maintenance will take place and the servers will be down.
On October 14, 2020 WoW will finally get new content thanks to the pre-patch 9.0.1 for Shadowlands. This means that the World of Warcraft servers will be undergoing maintenance and will be temporarily unavailable.

When will Pre-Patch 9.0.1 for WoW be released?
The pre-patch for WoW Shadowlands will be released on Wednesday, October 14, 2020.
How long will the WoW servers be down?
Blizzard has already announced on the official homepage when maintenance work on the World of Warcraft servers will begin. Blizzard has scheduled a total of eight hours for this:
– Server downtime: From 7 am to 3 pm
But beware: WoW players should expect that maintenance work can be delayed for a short time and that the servers will be unavailable for a longer period of time. It cannot be ruled out that unexpected problems will occur on patch days with major changes to the game.
What content is included in Pre-Patch 9.0.1?
This is what’s in it: The pre-patch for Shadowlands already adds many important and exciting features to WoW. For example, there is an extended character editor and with the Island of the Exiled there is a new starting area for level 1 characters.
Overall, the maximum level for all characters has been reduced from level 120 to 50 – there is also a “squish” of item levels. Players can also look forward to a temporary event with “The Flood of Death” to prepare for the final Shadowlands addon.

When will WoW Shadowlands be released?
Release still 2020, but when exactly? Originally, the addon Shadowlands was supposed to be released at the end of October. But only a few weeks ago Blizzard postponed the add-on – but there is no new release date. But Shadowlands should still be released in 2020.
