A new bug is causing problems in Battlefield 2042 and prevents players from connecting to the servers. The error code 1004G is currently being investigated by the developers.

Those who also encounter the bug should first try to rejoin the match several times. If this does not work, it might help to switch between different game modes. You should also check whether the connection problem is actually caused by EA or by your own internet connection – restarting the router could help. If the message 1004g still appears after all these measures, you simply have to be patient for further fixes from EA and DICE. We will keep you up to date on new changes.
