While Medieval Dynasty sent us to the European early Middle Ages, Sengoku Dynasty now takes us to the Japanese late Middle Ages. Hence the name: the Sengoku period covers about 100 years and lasted from 1477 to 1573. In Sengoku Dynasty, as in the other spin-offs of the series, we do not play a great hero or powerful feudal ruler. Instead, we slip into the role of a simple man who is building a new life for himself.
However, Sengoku Dynasty will put a little more focus on a proper story from the start, which is already touched on a little in the announcement trailer. In addition, the game will feature multiplayer for the first time, while other parts of the series are purely solo experiences.
