In the ESO expansion Blackwood, one of the franchise’s most famous villains made a comeback: the Daedra prince Mehrunes Dagon. We already sent him to the boards in Oblivion in 2006, but as we know, that was set long after the events of the MMO spin-off.

But how did the developers go about the task of bringing the sinister contemporary out of his long retirement and visually reworking him so that his design doesn’t look dusty and also stands up to the critical gaze of today’s gamers?

You can find out in the video, which lasts about 14 minutes and gives you many exciting insights into the course of such a development. And if you suddenly get really hooked on ESO while watching the video, we have the appropriate special issue ready to help you in the first hours of the game as best as possible.
