An Australian streamer could only be stopped by a PC crash in Halo Infinite – and names his personal weapon favourites that he used for his 100+ victories.
There are endless goals you can set for yourself in life: Prove the existence of magic, make your own Star Wars trilogy, play through Ninja Gaiden without a hit. Australian streamer Remy Mint Blitz has even put his own ambitious plan into action, winning more than 100 matches in Halo Infinite – and (almost) consecutively.
In a video on his YouTube channel, he explains in more detail the background to his crazy undertaking and proudly presents the very monotonous but nevertheless impressive list of results from his past matches.
PC crash nearly ended winning run early
Clearly, everyone walks away victorious on a good day in the Free2Play multiplayer portion of Halo Infinite. If you manage this feat several times in a row, you might order a cap with Pwner lettering. But Mint Blitz’s winning streak can be described as truly impressive.
In the end, the (publicly visible) track record shows an impressive 105 matches won within a single week. That was incredibly stressful, especially towards the end, and the closer he got to the big number, the more nervous he became. But there is one downer that we don’t want to hide, and that should be assessed by each of you yourselves: During his 75th match, his PC crashed, forcing him to completely restart.
As a result, he did not officially finish the match on 1 – at the time of his forced break through no fault of his own, however, he was already 10 points ahead according to his own statements, which meant that another victory was almost certain for him. As a result, there is a small hair in the otherwise flawless soup of success.

And why all this?
Mint Blitz itself says that it enjoys such ambitious challenges because it allows you to improve your own gameplay and also to learn the maps including important weapon spawn points by heart. He criticises the spawn rate of the Sniper Rifle in particular, because the weapon spawns far too rarely and only on two maps (Behemoth and Live Fire).
His favourites are therefore two other guns: The Shock Rifle is excellent for one-shots, even if it requires a lot of practice, because you have to anticipate your opponent’s movement in order to hit his head with it. And the Mangler simply destroys everything, which is why he would recommend that the developers at least reduce its ammunition supply.
The 100-match challenge also served another purpose. This is how the streamer keeps himself in line, as the supply of fresh content in Halo Infinite is known to be very disappointing so far – not least because of the failed Battle Pass.
Mint Blitz recently made a name for himself in another form around Halo Infinite. He discovered a curious glitch in the single player campaign that allows you to fly across the entire open world map.
