Gamers, put on your Xbox Series X/S and PS5 chain mail. Crusader Kings III will be released for your consoles at the end of March. This was announced by developer Lab42 and Paradox Interactive in a press release last night. To accompany this announcement, the two studios presented a new trailer.

Almost one and a half years ago, the medieval strategy game Crusader Kings III was released for the PC. Since then, several expansions have appeared that have further refined the gameplay. We have reported on Royal Kings Court and Northern Lords, for example. Now the title opens its castle gates to the console community.

In order to offer console players the best possible gameplay for Crusader Kings III, the gameplay has been adapted to the controller controls. Thus, amateur strategists can easily navigate through the game’s menus with the help of triggers and bumpers.
Furthermore, the console version supports the strong performance of the next-gen consoles in terms of loading times and haptic feedback. The added feature of Quick Resume allows switching between the game and other applications. On YouTube, for example, players can watch useful tutorials which they can then implement directly in their realm.

Crusader Kings III is now available for pre-order on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. Further information can be found on the (official website).
