Riot Games announced the new LoL champion Renata earlier this season. These are supposed to be the abilities of the gloomy enchanter.
For a few days now, more and more leaks about the next League of Legends champion have been circulating. For example, a website of Renata herself was discovered. But now there is also information about her skills.
Update 02.02.
Riot Games has now released a video confirming Renata as the next champion. Although her individual stats are not yet known, her abilities can already be seen in the video. This also confirms the many leaks about Renata.
Renata’s skills
The Twitter user “Monstrous Yi” together with “Neurona1” have been able to determine both the skills and the pictures for the upcoming supporter Renata.

The Passive – Leverage
Renata’s automatic attacks mark enemies and deal additional damage. Allied attacks can also use the mark and deal additional damage
The Q Skill – Handshake
Renata fires a missile from her robot arm and blocks the first enemy hit. She can then reactivate the ability to knock the opponent back in a direction of her choice, damage the opponent, or stun the target if it is a champion. (Here the leaker is not quite sure with his translation.)
The W Skill – Rescue
The W increases the running and attack speed of Renata and her allies. If an ally scores an elimination, the buff is renewed. If Renata’s team member dies, they are revived for 3 seconds while their life is reduced during this time. If a kill is scored during this time, the team member is fully revived.
The E Skill – Loyalty Programme
Renata fires several missiles that shield her allies and slow down enemies, as well as inflicting damage. The missiles can be used as an AOE around her or can be changed into missiles that deal explosive damage at the maximum range.
The Ultimate Ability – Enemy Takeover
Renata causes a cloud of chemicals to stop enemies. All enemies hit gain increased attack speed but are forced to attack everything around them, including each other. First the enemies attack their own allies, then Renata’s team members and then Renata herself.
The abilities make it clear that Riot Games wants to develop a new kind of enchanter here. As explained in their Season video, Renata is meant to be a bit more gritty compared to the cheerful Supporters that are currently available. However, her kit seems very strong, which is why changes could still follow here.
The information has not yet been confirmed by Riot Games themselves, but it is quite possible that these are the correct abilities, as they also fit with her background, which is brought closer on their website. When exactly Renata will be implemented into the game is not yet certain.
