Guitar Hero star Schmooey has cheated with some tricks in his videos. All these years he used cheats in his clips.

Schmooey was considered arguably the best Guitar Hero player in the world for a very long time. However, he used cheats in a large number of his videos. Because of one of his clips in December 2021, the hoax was exposed.

Guitar Hero is already over ten years old and yet the game has a loyal community. Among them is Schmooey, who has collected achievements and mastered seemingly impossible games in Guitar Hero. Over the years, Schmooey completed songs in the game at an insane speed that would be nearly impossible for most players. He even collects bonuses for these almost superhuman achievements.

However, his video for the song 9, Patterns Of Eternal Pain, exposed him as a cheater. Some inconsistencies were noticed during the recording. Schmooey’s hands did not hit exactly the right note on the guitar, which were, however, played on the screen. As a result, the song did not match the clip of the guitar. In addition, a Windows Media Player overlay appeared at the end of the video, indicating a previously recorded video.

Following this, more footage of Schmooey was investigated and it was found that he had cheated on about 100 clips in this way. On 15 January, Schmooey admitted cheating in a video on YouTube and apologised. He also deleted all his clips and, according to his own statement, even paid back the bonuses he had collected over the years.
