On 23 February 2022, the time has finally come: the second major content patch 9.2 will be applied to the live servers and you can look forward to new content in WoW Shadowlands. Once again you will try to stop the machinations of the dungeon master. After you were able to free Sylvanas Windrunner from his clutches, he has now taken control of Anduin and wants to rewrite reality – we want to stop him, of course.
See what’s in store for Patch 9.2 in the trailer above and read about it in our overview.
WoW Patch 9.2: What we can expect in the (presumably) final chapter of Shadowlands
In addition to a glimpse of the new content, we also finally get confirmation in the trailer that was previously only assumed but unspoken: Patch 9.2 is the final act of the Shadowlands story. So there will be no further content patch for Shadowlands. This breaks WoW’s usual pattern of three content patches per addon (this last happened with Warlords of Draenor).
