In Dying Light 2 there’s the first part of the second free addon. Techland makes you a ronin warrior in Villedor.
Just last week we got the first free DLC for Dying Light 2 with the Authority Pack. Not even a week later the developers are giving us the next free additional content. As with the first DLC, the Ronin Pack will also be released in three parts. How and when you can claim the goodies, we show you in this article.

What’s in the free Ronin Pack?
New weapon and new outfit: In the second free DLC for Dying Light 2, we’re off to Asian climes. From 21 February, you can don the robes of a (very modern) samurai. But what would a samurai be without a sword? The two-handed weapon is the icing on the cake!

When will the free DLC be released?
As with the first free DLC, the Ronin Pack will be released in three parts, so you won’t get all the clothes and the samurai sword at once. You can pick up the in-game items on the official Techland website from the following dates.
- Chest piece, sweatpants, trainers: 21 February 2022 – already available
- Headpiece, bracers, gloves: 23 February 2022
- Weapon: 25 February 2022
How do I get the free DLC?
How to get the loot:
If you purchased Dying Light 2 via Steam, you can comfortably download all previous DLCs via the (Shop page). On all other platforms you will have to take a small diversions:
* Open the (official Techland website)
* Go to the tab (Events)
* Look for the Ronin Pack and click on (More)
* At the bottom of the subpage, you can select the platform you are playing on.
* Now you have to log in with the respective account: (Playstation), (Xbox), (Steam), or (Epic)
* Once you have saved your items, you can finally open the game
* If everything has worked, you will be informed in the main menu that the contents are now in Aiden’s Hideout
* Once you are in the game, all you need to do is head to Aiden’s Hideout, which is marked with a green backpack.
* You should now see your new items in the stash and can add them to your inventory from now on.
Important note: You can’t get all the items at once, you have to log in to the Techland website on each of the three days and claim the new items – just like the previous Authority Pack:
