Elden Ring doesn’t have good graphics? A modder shows Elden Ring from its best side, without FPS cap, but with raytracing mod and in 4K.
Actually, all testers worldwide agree: Elden Ring is a real masterpiece. Only one point repeatedly leads to criticism and also to mixed Steam ratings: The technical problems. These include not least the somewhat old-fashioned graphics, which do not come close to a Demon’s Souls remake – and the annoying FPS cap.
Elden Ring in best possible graphics
The modder has removed the FPS Cap, improved the FOV, created a ray tracing reshade and maxed out the ultra graphics settings. In the video he shows a ten-minute showcase through the Open World. But see for yourself! Remember to select the appropriate resolution when playing the video.
Not surprisingly, it requires the crème de la crème of hardware. The following components were used for the video:
- Mainboard: Asus Prime x470-Pro
- CPU: Ryzen 9 3900x
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance 32Gb
- GPU: ASUS TUF RTX 3090
- SSD: Crucial mx500 2TB
In contrast to real ray tracing, in which the path of individual rays is calculated physically correctly, the “Beyond All Limits Ractracing” used is a reshade filter that simulates a comparable effect during post-processing. Supporters of Digital Dreams can find the reshade on their (Patreon-Account). You can download the mod for the FOV and FPS fix (here).
