With a new gameplay clip, the developers of the Dead Space remake provide an insight into the current state of the game.

The scenes are from a pre-alpha, so graphics, sounds or animations can (and will) still change. However, the video should already demonstrate how the gloomy sci-fi atmosphere of the original is to be captured.

Shortly before, EA announced a release date for the Dead Space remake and revealed further details about the development status via livestream. According to this, the new Dead Space is already almost completely playable. The title is scheduled for release in spring 2023.

By the way, the focus is currently on the audio design: On Twitter, for example, you can find a direct comparison of the weapon sounds between the original and the remake.
