After Witcher-style in-game items, you can now get the next free goodie when you link your GOG account to Cyberpunk 2077: A digital copy of the pen-and-paper guidebook to Cyberpunk 2020, the template for CD Projekt Red’s role-playing game. We explain how you can get it for free, what you have to bear in mind when linking on PC and console, and what other gifts are waiting for you.
For whom is Cyberpunk 2020 worthwhile?
Cyberpunk 2020 is especially exciting if you want to get to know the prequel to Cyberpunk 2077 or delve deeper into the backgrounds of characters like Johnny Silverhand, Alt Cunningham or Rogue. You’ll learn what Johnny Silverhand did during his lifetime and get deep insights into the history and culture of Night City.

What else do I get for free?
If you link your GOG account to Cyberpunk 2077, you will not only receive in-game items, but also gifts outside of the game:

These rewards are independent of those tied to purchase from specific retailers or platforms – for example, GOG or Steam in the case of the PC version. We list them for you in the overview of the editions:
How do I link my GOG account?
You don’t have to have bought Cyberpunk 2077 on GOG, you just have to have an account there and link it to the game. It doesn’t matter if you bought it for PC on GOG, Steam or Epic or even if you play it on console. CD Projekt Red explains the necessary steps in their guides for the respective platform on this website.
If you use GOG Galaxy, you can download most of the goodies directly through it. On Steam and Epic, you have to log into the REDLauncher via your own GOG account when you start the game. On PS4, PS5, Xbox One or Xbox Series S/X, you log in via an activation link in the in-game menu at the bottom right under the item “My Rewards”.
How do I download the content?
After that, you should be able to access and download the free goodies via your respective client. The Cyberpunk 2020 Guidebook will then be available to you as a PDF. Console players will find the content on GOG and can access it there or directly in GOG Galaxy. You can find it in Cyberpunk 2077 under “Extras”.
If you have already finished Cyberpunk 2077, you can use Cyberpunk 2020 to tell your own campaign together with friends.
