Captain Tsubasa: Video game announced! The rise of a new champion

Captain Tsubasa is returning to the consoles! The popular anime hero is finally getting a video game again from Bandai Namco.
The game will be called Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions and will be released for PlayStation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch. The publisher promises many details that are popular from the series: arcade football, high-speed duels and player super action.

Included are the heroes of the series: Kojiro Hyuga, goalkeeper Genzo Wakabayashi, Taro Misaki, Jun Misugi, Hikaru Matsuyama and of course protagonist Tsubasa Osora.

The game is released almost ten years after the last console game in the “Tsubasa” series. An exact date is not yet known, on the official site is the release year 2020.

The last console game from the universe was called “New Kick Off” and was released for the Nintendo DS in 2010.
