In Season 11, junglers suddenly find themselves without special items for their role – we show you which weapons your champion can still dominate with.

Season 11 is probably the biggest change for junglers in LoL – with the new item system, previous items created specifically for the jungle, such as Hunter’s Machete, Stalker’s and Skirmisher’s Blade, have simply been removed. The only new items added for the role are Hailblade and Emberknife – helpful starting items, but not a complete solution for the rest of the game.

Now, if you don’t want to make a bad purchase as a Jungler, you need to know your champion’s type and strengths well in order to find your way through the new Mythic and Legendary items. Here are our suggestions for the different jungler types.

A few champions that are increasingly seen in the Jungle in the current meta don’t fit easily into these categories: Graves and Kindred, for example, are shooters that can nevertheless jungle very effectively. For both, classic AD items like Galeforce and Krakenslayer can work as mythics. So, as always, if you know your champion well enough, you’ll always have an advantage.
