From 2019 became 2022: We are talking about the release of the Ultra Deluxe version of The Stanley Parable. The extended version of the almost indie classic from 2013 has been in development for some time, but is now really close to completion.
As the developers themselves announce in the trailer, the release will take place on 27 April 2022 for the PC and for all current consoles, namely PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. And what can you expect in the Ultra Deluxe version?
Well, according to the developers, there’s new content, new choices and plenty of fresh secrets. One thing remains the same: as a player, you slip into the role of Stanley, an office worker, and at the same time you do not. But you’ll have to find out for yourself why and why not.
