Since the end of March, gamers have been able to immerse themselves in the Japanese mythical world of Ghostwire: Tokyo. Now a new update offers general gameplay improvements as well as adjustments for National Children’s Day.

While Japan is currently celebrating the “Golden Week”, Tango Gameworks has a new update for Ghostwire: Tokyo ready. On the one hand, players can now also celebrate the national children’s day in-game. On the other hand, there are a lot of improvements, such as VVR support for the PlayStation 5, a feature that makes for a generally more rounded gameplay on the console. The mouse smoothing option on the PC also contributes to this.
Further gaming comfort is provided by the volume adjustment of the Tengu. The cry of this bird yokai was too loud for many players, which is why it has now been adjusted.

To celebrate National Children’s Day in Japan, Ghostwire: Tokyo now has two new emotes. You also have the opportunity to put on Akito a Kabuto Samurai helmet made of paper.

National Children’s Day is actually celebrated on 5 May in Japan. With this day, the people celebrate the health and joy of youth by hanging kites in the shape of fish. In addition, those kabuto helmets are made.
