Next to the Owen Gun, MP40 or Type 100, many players overlook the Thompson submachine gun. We tell you how to get the most out of this unassuming weapon.

24-year-old streamer ZLaner took a closer look at the “Tommy Gun” in Call of Duty Warzone and shows us a loadout that’s more than worth considering.

Perfect for Rebirth Island

On the small and narrow map Rebirth Island, firefights at short range are the order of the day. A good and reliable SMG is therefore indispensable. Warzone pro ZLaner therefore took a look at the M1912 “Tommy Gun” and showed in his first match why the weapon belongs in your inventory. The streamer made an unbelievable 29 kills in his first round with the new weapon.

The extremely high mobility and a still good TTK make the Tommy Gun the perfect choice for Rebirth Island. The perks “Nimble” and “Fast” increase the movement speed even more and turn you into a ball-busting lightning bolt that your enemies won’t see until it’s too late.

This is how you should play the favourite weapon of all Mafiosi:

  • muzzle: recoil amplifier
  • barrel: Chariot 5.5″
  • visor: Slate reflector
  • Shaft: CGC S adjustable
  • Bottom: M1941 manual stop
  • Magazine: 9mm 50-round drum magazine
  • Ammunition type: Extended
  • Grip: Cloth grip
  • Perk 1: Nimble
  • Perk 2: Quick

If you’re on Caldera, though, you might want to look for an alternative instead. The new Nikita AVT, the Cooper carbine or the classic assault rifle, the STG44, are good options for longer combat distances
