Marvel’s Spider-Man is coming to PC along with Miles Morales. We reveal what we know so far about the release and the content of the open world hit.

The friendly neighbourhood spider will soon be saving the world (or at least New York) on PC: Marvel’s Spider-Man and also Miles Morales make the jump from Sony’s Playstation to Steam and Epic – and very soon. The open-world hit from Insomniac Games will also be brought to the home computer after God of War and Uncharted. We provide you with all the information.

All info about Spider-Man on PC

Release: When will Spider-Man Remastered and Miles Morales be released?

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will be released on August 12, 2022 on PC, Miles Morales will then follow in Autumn 2022 So after Sony’s State of Play, fans won’t even have to wait two months until they can swing through New York with Peter Parker on their home computers, while his protégé will follow later.

It is currently unknown when the pre-sale and preload will start.

Platforms: What will Spider-Man be available on?

Spider-Man and Miles Morales will be available on PC from both Steam and the Epic Games Store . At the time of publishing this article, however, no product pages are yet available on the respective platforms, so fans will have to be patient a little longer in this regard.

Contents: What’s Inside?

After the original release of Spider-Man for the PS4, the game was released as a remastered version for the Playstation 5, which of course went hand in hand with the release of the Miles Morales spin-off. The remaster is now being ported to PC in August, which means that all the story DLCs and additional suits will be included from the start.

 

Graphics: What about ray tracing and co.

Concrete details about the advantages of the PC version are currently not available. So far, the (official blog post) only hints at a few additional features for the home computer. With this and also in view of the improvements of previous PC ports, we firmly expect features such as ray tracing. More info to follow.

 

What about Spider-Man 2?

Sequel already in the works: Insomniac is currently already working on a sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man, which is set to be released for the Playstation 5 in 2023. There has been no talk of a PC version of Spider-Man 2 so far. However, in view of previous ports, it cannot be ruled out that it will also be released for the home computer at some point.

In the sequel to the open world hit, Peter Parker and Miles Morales will have to deal with Venom and Kraven the Hunter, among others.

Wolverine also gets his own game: Insomniac Games is also currently working on Marvel’s Wolverine. The game about the Canadian X-Man and mutants should be released in 2023 – and also for the Playstation 5. There are currently no concrete details, gameplay or a release date.
