The Call of Duty League Championship 2022 will be held in Los Angeles at the beginning of August. Eight teams will compete for the title.
The Call of Duty League announced the date for the Championship Weekend on Wednesday. From 4 to 7 August, the most important CoD event will take place in Los Angeles. There the World Champion in Call of Duty will be crowned.
Only the top eight teams of the regular season will secure a place in the Championship playoffs. The fourth Major in New York from 14 to 17 July is the last chance to grab points for the overall standings. A few weeks after the Major 4 final, the title of World Champion in Call of Duty: Vanguard and the coveted trophy will be contested at the Galen Center in Los Angeles.
There will also be an on-site audience at the tournament. Currently, fans can register for a newsletter that gives access to the pre-sale of tickets. This will start on 27 June, with tickets going on sale to everyone else three days later. There is space for over 10,000 fans at the Galen Centre to cheer on their favourite team at the venue.

Unlike last year, all eight teams in the 2022 Championship will start in Winners Round 1, meaning none of the contenders will be in the loser’s bracket to begin with.
In 2021 Atlanta FaZe won the overall title and thus the trophy. In the final, the team triumphed against Toronto Ultra 5:3 and took home prize money of 1.2 million US dollars.
