Since the weekend, an alleged leaked teaser of a new Silent Hill game has surfaced. This is said to contain the reveal date of the upcoming title.

After Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hills was shelved seven years ago, fans have been waiting for a sequel to the series. Now it almost looks like the long wait might finally be over. A teaser is circulating on Twitter that sets the reveal date for 12 July. The authenticity of the leak cannot yet be verified, so we’d better keep our anticipation in check.

According to the Twitter account Rebs Gaming, the leak was first said to have been shared on a Japanese forum. However, that post has now been removed. According to the leaker, the clip was shown during a Konami shareholder meeting. However, Rebs Gaming also states that it has not yet received any official confirmation affirming the authenticity of this Silent Hill teaser.

Accordingly, there is nothing we can do but wait for July 12.
