Skull & Bones has been in development for several years and it has had its ups and downs. However, Ubisoft plans to show the first gameplay trailer on its own YouTube channel on Thursday.
After a long wait, Ubisoft is giving gamers a glimpse of Skull & Bones. At 8 p.m. on Thursday, the developer studio will show the first gameplay trailer on its YouTube channel and let gamers dive into the world of pirates again. Skull & Bones is an online game in which players:inside play pirates during the golden age of piracy.
Five years ago, Ubisoft officially announced Skull & Bones at E3 2017 and players were able to play the game briefly at Gamescom 2018. However, it then became quite quiet about Skull & Bones. Ubisoft Singapore is mainly involved in the development and has delayed it several times over the course of time for various reasons.
In 2020, Ubisoft Singapore Managing Director Hugues Ricour was accused of sexual harassment. In August 2021, there were still further investigations into the same allegations. These incidents were certainly not conducive to a quick completion of Skull & Bones. Now the release of the game is planned for March 2023.
