Publisher Riot Games releases new Star Guardian skins in League of Legends. The outfits will appear in the MOBA game as early as July.
Fans of League of Legends can expect new content on the ‘Star Guardian’ series. This includes new skins and an event. Now Riot Games has released another official teaser about it, which gives significantly more information. Already on 14 July, Star Guardians will appear in the game.
The Star Guardian skin collection will soon be getting an addition. In the process, champions from LoL will be portrayed as either saviours or villains in an anime. The announcement caused displeasure in the community even before the event started. The first teaser from 20 June only announced further skins and did not give any information about which characters exactly will receive a Star Guardian appearance.
New teaser reveals Star Guardian champions
The new teaser is significantly longer and gives more insight into the upcoming skin series. For in this one, the new Star Guardians are clearly shown and hints are given about more skins in the series
These are the new skins:
- Star Guardian Akali
- Star Guardian Ekko
- Star Guardian Ekko Prestige
- Star Guardian Kai’Sa
- Star Guardian Nilah
- Star Guardian Rell
- Star Guardian Sona
- Star Guardian Taliyah
- Star Nemesis Fiddlesticks

Teaser fuels speculation about more skins
Other star guards appear in the teaser, but they might only be available in the mobile version Wild Rift. These are:
- Star Guardian Orianna
- Star Guardian Senna
- Star Guardian Seraphine
There are also rumours of more skins, including Star Guardian Quinn and Star Guardian Morgana. In addition, the tainted Star Guardians Rakan and Xayah could be “redeemed” and get additional Redeemed Star Guardian Skins.
Riot Games released the Star Guardian skins in LoL for the first time in 2017. In the process, Ahri, Miss Fortune, Syndra, Soraka and Ezrael received such a look. Ten more champions have received a Star Guardian skin in the MOBA so far. The collection will be expanded on 14 July with the addition of a few more champions.
