Not only Verdansk has gone back in time, but also the Gulag has undergone a change.

Season 3 brings some fundamental changes to Warzone. Not only is the Verdansk ’84 map completely redesigned, but the Gulag has been completely rebuilt to reflect part of the Standoff map from Black Ops II. Thus, parts of Standoff are now represented twice in Warzone, as part of the farmland of the map has also been recreated.

The new Gulag

For the first time, the Gulag has a building in one corner of the room, separating the players from each other. This means that there is now vertical combat in the Gulag, and there is also significantly more cover than before. Those who have played Standoff in Black OPs II know the layout of the new gulag all too well.

But there are some tips that can give you an advantage. For example, fights often occur on the 1st floor of the building. If you see your opponent there and have a fully automatic weapon, you can also disappear behind the wall and keep pointing. This way you will hardly be hit, but you will still generate high damage.

Help from comrades

As in the previous versions of Gulag, you can watch the fights from the outside and even walk above the arena through the walkways. So if one of your teammates is fighting, you can tell him the exact position of the opponent.

By the way, the weapon rotation currently includes a colorful mix of Cold War weapons. The revolver is especially tricky, as you have to aim it well. Most of the other weapons are fully automatic.
