The release of Hogwarts Legacy was originally planned for December 2022. Now it has been postponed to February 2023.

Harry Potter fans have already been given some glimpses of Hogwarts Legacy. However, no exact release date was known until now. Now the developers have announced a date: The game is not expected to be released until early 2023.

Actually, Hogwarts Legacy was supposed to be released in December 2022. Even a leak from shipping giant Amazon hinted at Christmas. But now fans have to wait until 10 February 2023. Only then will the title be released for the PlayStation, Xbox and PC. Hogwarts Legacy is also to be released for the Nintendo Switch, but there is no release date for it yet.

Harry Potter fans can expect some familiar locations in the upcoming game. Players take on the role of a student at Hogwarts and explore the corridors and classrooms of the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry. They can also visit places such as the nearby Dort Hogsmeade or the forbidden forest.

This is an open-world game in which players can create their own character at the beginning. Harry Potter fans can choose one of the four houses Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. In the course of the game, players will also be involved in battles against other wizards and creatures. They can use spells to defend themselves against the attackers.
