On 21 August, CS:GO celebrated its tenth birthday. The players were hoping for spectacular new content for the anniversary, but with each new patch, the community’s hopes seem to dwindle. For CS:GO’s birthday, Valve gave a cupcake with a special coin. Furthermore, over 60 stickers designed by the community were added to the game.

With the latest update, players were hoping for even more content for the anniversary. However, the patch only brings adjustments to the maps and new music to Valve’s shooter. Some fans seem to be quite disappointed about this and had expected more for the tenth anniversary. That’s why some players are letting their disappointment run free on Reddit.

What a joke.” Whether Valve will come up with anything else for the birthday remains to be seen. However, hope seems to be fading fast among the community.
