Publisher Modus Games has released a new cinematic trailer for Soulstice, celebrating the release of the game’s playable demo, which is now available for PC (Steam). A fitting occasion for this surprise drop, complete with new info, was of course the GamesCom 2022 in Cologne, which is still running this weekend.
What to expect with Soulstice
The release of the Soulstice demo is accompanied by a brand new trailer. This was first shown at the Future Games Show and offers a glimpse of one of the game’s breathtakingly beautiful cinematics. In it, the sisters Briar and Lute are surprised by “Arrowhead”, one of the game’s most fearsome enemies.
The atmospheric fantasy world of Soulstice takes players to places full of terrible dangers but also impressive beauty. The deep combat system gives Briar and Lute an endless array of tactical options through the stringing together of combos, the use of different weapons and many customisation options. In this way, they can defeat their enemies as they explore Ilden and encounter new threats at every turn. However, the closer the duo get to the rift in the sky above the ruined city, the more demanding the challenges become and the more hostile and twisted the environment becomes.
Briar and Lute, both voiced by Stefanie Joosten (Metal Gear Solid V), are sisters reborn as Chimera. They are the only ones who can take on the Wraiths. These are vile creatures that have invaded this world from the other side of the veil. Only if players use the abilities of both characters can the protagonists reach their full potential and stop the invasion.
The exciting battle to save humanity from the spawn of chaos will be released on 20 September 2022 for PlayStation5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The Soulstice PC demo is available (here) for download. To learn more about Soulstice visit the (website) of the game.
