As usual you can play FIFA 23 before release. Here you can find out how to do that and what the 10 hours limit is all about.

There are only a few days left before the release of FIFA 23 the first FIFA from Electronic Arts. But apart from this special feature many things around the release of the new FIFA remain the same. So it is possible to play FIFA a little bit earlier this year again.

In this article we will tell you in detail what you should know about the Early Access of FIFA 23 and how you can start playing early.

Release of FIFA 23: When will it start?

The official release of FIFA 23 will actually take place on 30 September 2022 From that day onwards, all gamers on any platform will be free to simply buy FIFA 23 and play without limits. The game will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and on PC for Steam, Epic, Stadia and at EA Origin.

However, it is also possible to play FIFA a few days before. The following two dates are relevant:

This is how you play from 26 September 2022

In order to start playing on 26 September at 4pm you must be subscribed to EA”s subscription service on PC . So if you pay either EA Play (€4) or EA Play Pro (€15) monthly, Early Access will start for you four days early. Remember that you can also subscribe to EA Play on Steam and that it is also integrated into Game Pass.

How to play from 27 September 2022

If you have pre-ordered FIFA 23 (in the Ultimate Edition) you can also start earlier. In this case, however, it will also start on the PC on 27 September. Of course, this edition also costs a lot. Here you pay a whole 90 euros for advance access and extended bonuses. The bonuses are only worthwhile for you, however, if you can get to grips with the controversial FUT mode.

These are the benefits of the Ultimate Edition:

  • 3 days advance access: Play FIFA 23 from 27 September
  • IFA World Cup FUT Hero Player Item (Untradeable) – only with pre-order by August 21.
  • 4,600 FIFA Points
  • FUT Ones to Watch Player Item (Trade-in)
  • FUT Team-of-the-Week 1 Player Item (Untradeable)
  • Kylian Mbappé Loan Item for 5 FUT Matches
  • FUT Ambassador loan item for 3 FUT games
  • Career mode young talent from own youth with world class potential

What”s the deal with the 10-hour limit?

Pre-access is not limitless in every variant. If you own EA Play (without Pro) and want to get started on September 26, you only have 10 hours After that you will have to wait until the game is fully unlocked on 30 September

But beware! With this subscription FIFA 23 will not be available immediately at release. You can only play FIFA with EA Play on release if you own the Pro model. Otherwise you will have to buy the game on release.

If you own EA Play Pro or have pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition, there is no 10-hour limit.

How do I make the best use of the 10 hours?

Don”t worry, your score will not be deleted after the 10 hours. So everything you do in FIFA 23 you can simply continue with the release on September 30th. Just make sure that you don”t leave the game open while you are doing something else. Even if you are only idle in the menu, the time is constantly ticking down. So it is best to switch off FIFA as soon as you are not there for more than a few minutes.

Use the 10 hours mainly to take a look at the modes that are most important to you and to test the gameplay. Don”t spend too long making decisions in the menus. The best thing to do is to take a look at the innovations in the career mode and play a few rounds. If you like playing FUT, you can also use the web app to organise your team. It”ll save you some time.
