The final Season of Warzone is in full swing and once again introduces a new game mode with its Reloaded update.

It seems that even an old dog can still learn new tricks. The upcoming Warzone Season 5 midseason update comes with a new game mode in tow. We tell you what it is all about.

A goodbye treat

The last major update for Warzone is about to be released and developer Raven Software is once again giving the community a special treat in the form of a new limited time game mode – Rebirth Island: Resurgence Supreme.

The new mode will be available in Solo, Duo, Trio and Quad modes and will take place on Rebirth Island. The map will be packed with epic or even higher quality loot, making your loadout almost unnecessary.

So this mode will be more about your skill and less about the perfectly tuned loadout. To compensate for the better loot, all players will also have more health. Players who win the match with 15 or more kills will receive the “Resurgence Trials Victory” animated calling card as a memento.

Can only get better

We can only hope that the new mode does better than the final Heroes vs. Villains event, which was anything but well received. Accusations from the community that the competition was distorted by developer influence proved to be correct. In the end, however, the latter could only delay the inevitable. In the end, the villains won by a clear margin.

Before Warzone is then replaced by its successor Warzone 2.0 on 16 November, there is to be one more update to the playlist. The most popular game modes of the last few years will be rotated to provide variety in Warzone. However, there will be no more major content updates in the future and only Caldera will be playable, all other maps will be removed.

Incidentally, Warzone 2.0 still has its own problems to contend with. Even though the new battle royale map Al Mazrah looks promising, there are still some construction sites that have to be finished before the release. Besides the questionable loot system and the controversial new gulag, there will also be no more loadouts.
