On Sunday, Cristiano Ronaldo scored the 2-1 winner for Manchester United against Everton FC in the Premier League. Two days after scoring his first goal of the season, rumours are spreading that the attacking star will be given a promo card in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team.
According to information from FIFA leaker “Fut Sheriff”, Cristiano Ronaldo will be part of the Rulebreaker promo. Fut Sheriff announced this via Twitter on Tuesday with an exemplary image design. The leaker has made mostly correct predictions over the years and is considered a reliable source in FIFA circles.

Rulebreaker is a special type of promo card that changes players along with their abilities. “They say goodbye to their previous style of play, get a completely new role on the pitch with game-changing stats upgrades and step into the limelight. This gives you new team-building options,” reads EA Sports’ explanation for its predecessor FUT 22.
With a new promo action, especially new position changes could be possible in FIFA 23, which brings new spice into the game, especially with the changed chemistry system.
While Ronaldo has fallen out of favour with Manchester United after his failed transfer ambitions in the summer, his popularity remains high in FIFA 23.
Traditionally popular are his FUT cards, of which there are several each year. In FUT 22 alone, there were ten different promo variants of the 37-year-old Portuguese, including Team of the Season (TOTS) and Team of the Year (TOTY). Nine Ronaldo promo cards appeared in FIFA 21, compared to six in FIFA 20.
