The imposing remake of The Witcher 1 has just been announced, after CD Projekt let several wolves out of the bag anyway: Five new Witcher games are to be released in the next few years. The community fancies itself on a high like Vilgefortz after a successful plot. But now comes a rather bitter pill: Henry Cavill is dropping out.

After Season 3, the Hollywood star will no longer embody the grumpy wizard Geralt. He shared this with his fans via Instagram. A concrete reason for the decision has not yet been given:


Fans have been eagerly awaiting the third season of The Witcher for a long time. But even before the premiere, the streaming service Netflix reveals a big news about the series. Henry Cavill will not return to his role as Geralt of Riva for the fourth season. Instead, Liam Hemsworth will take on the part of the White Wolf.
