Not only is the streamer facing months for rehab, but she was also unknowingly pregnant.
At TwitchCon 2022 in San Diego, several streamers injured themselves by landing in a foam pit that many attendees said wasn’t filled well enough. One of them was Twitch streamer and porn actress Adriana Chechik. She broke her back in two places and had to have two surgeries. Now she shares her experience.
“I was pregnant “
Since her accident, Adriana Chechik has repeatedly written tweets informing about her current condition. For example, she wrote that she was in immense pain, but still didn’t want to give up. She also shared a picture of her scar on her back and said she was very happy with the result.
In addition, she expressed in her return stream that she can get completely better if she continues to take care of her body and follow the doctors’ instructions. However, the streamer said that there is still a chance that she could be in pain for the rest of her life. However, she currently requires round-the-clock care as she cannot even shower or get dressed, she added.
I do have 24 hour care cus I still can’t even dress myself lol or shower myself… so someone will help me get out!!! https://t.co/Mkp5vkgQjj

While gambling later in the stream, she then told:
I was pregnant and I only found out when I was in hospital. (…) I’m not pregnant now because of the surgery. I couldn’t keep it.

Community says: “Sue them!”
As more details of Chechik’s side are revealed, many on Twitter are writing that she should sue all the companies responsible. This is how they write:
- (Fweago): “Oh, she’s ready to sue.”
- (FromBeyondCreation): “And where is Twitch in all this? That’s sad. This is a baby that wasn’t even allowed to live. I hope she takes this to court and takes it all in full. (…)”
- (kross): “Did she mention anything regarding charges?”
So far, Twitch has not contacted Adriana Chechik and she also does not want to comment on an indictment so far. That, she says, is not the path she wants to take at the moment to heal.
