The real film trailer for Callisto Protocol shows: The horror game has what it takes to become a TV series

Instead of presenting fresh gameplay scenes once again, developer studio Striking Distance and publisher Krafton are relying entirely on a live-action performance by Josh Duhamel immediately before the release of The Callisto Protocol on 2 December. Just like in the game, the Transformers star takes on the role of protagonist Jacob Lee in the recently released TV spot, as he crash lands his cargo ship on the titular moon of Jupiter.

The fact that the monstrosities roaming around there are strongly reminiscent of the hideous Necromorphs from Dead Space is, incidentally, thanks to Game Director Glen Schofield, who launched the survival horror classic during his time as a producer at EA.
