Yesterday afternoon several things happened in connection with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. On the one hand, Steam accidentally leaked the release date of the title. On the other hand, EA issued a press release promising new information soon.
Until now, EA, Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games did not want to comment on the exact release date of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Now Valve has taken over this with the PC gaming shop Steam for publishers and developers. A screenshot in the forum Resetera shows the release date of the upcoming adventure that can be seen briefly. It is said to be 16 March 2023. In the meantime, the release date is no longer visible. If this screenshot is correct, it already confirms the first speculations that spoke of a release in spring.
Shortly afterwards EA published a press release. In this press release they did not mention the leak. But they promised to deliver more information about Star Wars Jedi: Survivor during The Game Awards. So it is possible that they wanted to record the release date on Steam that afternoon, but there was a clerical error.
In addition, the press release showed the key art of the upcoming Star Wars adventure game pictured above.
We’ll find out what else publishers and developers will be showcasing during The Game Awards on Thursday 9 December at 2am. We’ll let you know all the important info on Friday morning.
