Esports organisation Fnatic has announced their roster. LoL star player Rekkles returns to the LEC team after a two-year absence
Fnatic announced their roster for the upcoming League of Legends European Championship (LEC) season on Thursday. Popular AD Carry Martin “Rekkles” Larsson returns to the LEC team after two years.
At the end of 2020, Rekkles still moved to rival G2 Esports, but the top player has been anything but happy about the switch. “It was a mistake,” the AD carry said in his explainer video in November. Moreover, Rekkles was not allowed to move to another LEC team unless the new team would pay a whopping transfer fee. As a result, the top player said goodbye to the LEC for the time being and went to Karmine Corp in France.
After one year, it was over for the AD-Carry in the French league LFL. Now, after two years of abstinence, Rekkles returns to Fnatic and will make the bot lane unsafe together with the supporter Rúben “Rhuckz” Barbosa. This will also mark the comeback of the top player in the highest European league.

Rekkles and Rhuckz thus replace the two Esport players Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov and Elias “Upset” Lipp. The Swedish top player played for Fnatic from May 2015 until November 2020 and won the LEC title four times. He also reached the finals of the 2018 LoL Worlds with the team, and Rhuckz has already had a taste of the Worlds when the 2022 supporter had to fill in for Hylissang, who had fallen ill.
