Strikerz Inc. CEO Eugene Nashilov has once again spoken out about the release date of UFL. Since then, it has become clear when the new football simulation will hit the market.
After it has become rather quiet around the new football simulation UFL apart from a development update, CEO Eugene Nashilov now has some happy news to share during the festive season.
The CEO of Strikerz Inc. announced via Twitter in the course of a Christmas Q&As that the FIFA competitor is scheduled for release next year after the recent postponement – and even got specific!
CEO announces release date
In addition to a separate post in which the Ukrainian announced a major gameplay event in March including a full match demo, the focus was mainly on the release date. Nashilov made it clear once again in his Q&A thread how essential a flawless release will be for the future of UFL.
Now, a Holiday Announcement:
March 2023 we will have an event on YT, similar to the one in 2022 (watch it if you still haven”t). We plan to show a FULL MATCH, no edits.
We will also venture into things we haven”t spoken of before.
Looking forward to it. Excited and nervous, tbh– Eugene Nashilov (@styxflows) December 25, 2022
“2023 will be a year of football simulations: EA, at least it seems, is releasing a title under a new name. Konami is also busy and has no plans to leave the scene. We have to act very carefully because there are no second chances in this industry. That”s why we have to keep some secrets.”
Although the CEO could not give an exact date yet, he was at least able to narrow down the time frame more precisely. According to the plan, the FIFA competitor should be released in the third or fourth quarter of 2023. Until then, the game still has to be fine-tuned and the corresponding guidelines for the console release have to be adhered to.
Patience is therefore still required. Nevertheless, the anticipation for the new football simulation can slowly rise.
